Annual Email Fees Due Dec 01 - 15, 2007

Just like the previous year, our internet services provider Filipino Web Services Inc. will be billing individual rural banks. The minor payment being asked will be for email services for the period December 01, 2007 to December 01, 2008. Amount: P 1,120 VAT included.

The fee that is being charged by the service provider is modest considering the scope of coverage and operation that they have to manage for the rural banking banking sector. Filipino Web conscientiously provided the rural banks with free email service from 2004 to 2006. Their investment in time and effort to set up the email infrastructure for the rural banks as well as the other technical services they have rendered such as the RBAP and Mobile Phone Banking website development and maintenance exemplify their interest in the welfare of our sector.

Our email accounts @rbap.org is a vital tool for communication between us members and our industry partners. We therefore encourage all members to pay their email dues for the continued use of the their respective email accounts.

Email service is an essential tool that enables us to effectively provide our rural constituencies with banking and financial services, thus we are enjoining your favorable response to this arrangement.
