Attached for your reference, is a copy of House Bill No. 3819, under the sponsorship of Hon. Juan Edgardo M. Angara and Hon. Vicente P. Crisologo otherwise known as "An Act Establishing a Credit Information System, and for other Purposes."

This Bill, which provides for the creation of a Credit Information Bureau with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as its major shareholder, will benefit the rural banks by making their credit operations cost-efficient and accurate.

In this connection, may we request you to lobby your respective Congressmen to support the immediate passage of this Bill.
