In January 31, 1959, the respected couple Federico Cruz Suntay and Cristina Aguinaldo Suntay established the “ Hagonoy Rural Bank ” in response to the growing need for credit especially by the simple fisherfolk of Hagonoy and outlying areas. For many years, it was the town’s only bank. Through the years, its growth was gradual but steady but sure. The bank believes in the principle of maintaining financial stability as the base of resilient entrepreneurship.

Today, under its new name and aegis, East Cost Bank has risen like the sun at dawn under the helm of a new generation of Suntays to meet the challenges of the new century and the new millenium. An array of products and services listed here greets the new client of the 21st century. Backed by more than 40 years of experience and tradition, East Coast Bank , adopts a new vision of hope for its growing clientele.
