TO: ALL BANKS AND NON-BANK FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

SUBJECT: SECURITY OF CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE

The Task Force for the Security of Critical Infrastructure (TFSCI), Office
of the President, in cooperation with the Philippine Information Agency,
launched a nationwide campaign to prevent terrorist attacks and to inform
the public on the importance of protecting the country's critical
infrastructure.

In this connection, all banks and non-bank financial institutions are
enjoined to participate in this campaign by -

1. Encouraging its employees, clients and the general public to exercise
vigilance and report any suspicious activities to the proper authorities;
and

2. Using its premises for the display of posters on the subject.

Free posters provided by TFSCI are availbale through the Bankers
Association of the Philippines, the Chamber of Thrift Banks, the Rural
Bankers Association of the Philippines and the Supervisory Reports and
Studies Office, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
